In order to facilitate the efficient and secure processing of immigrants to Trav Khar, we request compliance with the following process:
1. Within 24 hours of arrival in Trav Khar, all nations intending to immigrate will declare their intention to do so by posting a letter addressed to the Head Delegate or Founder under the "Letter's of Introduction Thread" in the Immigration Service Office board.
2. Any nation submitting such an application will be granted a visa to reside in Trav Khar pending final approval by the Head Delegate and/or Founder. Any nation not submitting such an application shall be ejected without prejudice and shall be welcome to re-enter and apply.
3. While awaiting final approval, a nation possessing a visa may participate freely in the forum and may cast votes in non-binding referenda. A nation possessing a visa shall not be allowed to vote on binding referenda, vote for final passage of any constitution, nor shall they endorse any nation for Head Delegate.
4. If, during the application process, the Head Delegate, the Founder or their appointee may ask the applicant any question pertaining to the applicant's past conduct, criminal history, existing or former bilateral alliances or treaty, or membership in multinational or intelligence or raiding organizations or treaties. No applicant may be questioned regarding religious affiliation, economic policy, or other internal matter, unless such a matter presages membership in an international organization. An applicant may appeal to the appointed questioner, Head Delegate or Founder or all of the above if the purpose of a question is unclear, embarrassing, or inflammatory.
5. All decisions of the Head Delegate and Founder regarding final approval and disapproval shall be co-signed, or if one of the officials is unavailable, shall be signed by the available official and at least one other citizen.
6. Upon approval, the applicant will be given citizenship effective immediately.
7. If the application is denied for procedural reasons, such will be indicated to the applicant and they will have 48 hours to correct the procedural problem and continue the application process.
8. If the application is denied for substantive reasons of security, the applicant, if a member of the UN, shall either leave upon logging in or shall relinquish membership in the UN immediately upon logging in and within 48 hours give cause as to why they should be allowed to stay, evidence not withstanding. If they are not a UN member, they may make a plea to stay deportation within 48 hours by showing cause that they should be allowed to stay.
9. If such an appeal is not filed in 48 hours or is denied, the applicant shall be summarily deported and not allowed to reapply.
